Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an opportunity for a CANES - Systems Support Specialist position focused on MARMC Code 281 technical support and assistance to assess, inspect, and correct system faults in Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) (AN/USQ-208) and other C2I systems/equipment.
Scope of Work
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Provide program management support and administrative support to MARMC. Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
- Provide strong organizational and technical management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work. Self-motivated, possess strong analytical skills and be customer oriented.
- Clearly communicate ideas to others verbally and in writing.
- Serve as the contracting company’s main point of contact with the Contracting Officer (KO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management. This includes being the main point of contact for all subcontractors.
- Report to the KO and COR that all work is performed according to contractual requirements and performance standards.
- Report to the KO and COR that regular feedback on performance is provided to the Government on all areas of contract performance.
- Report to the KO and COR that all personnel involved in providing or supporting services under the contract meet requirements established by the Task Order, including security clearance requirements.
- Report to the KO and COR that appropriate controls to prevent and detect cases of employee fraud or malfeasance and notification of appropriate security personnel to determine required actions.
- Report to the KO or COR appropriately for Key Personnel turnover. Ensure that replacements are identified, proposed and replaced in a timely manner.
- Supervise all the contracting company’s employees and responsible for the performance of their tasks.
Qualifications Required for the Position
- Demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in the troubleshooting, assessment and repair of AN/USQ-208 CANES systems. Experience shall be current; within the last 3 years.
- Preferred Experience: Troubleshooting, repair and assessment on the following systems/equipment:
- Red Hat/Linux
- EMC Storage/Backup Solution
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
- System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Host Based Security System (HBSS)
- Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS)
- System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Blade Center
- VTC
